When Every Day is a Snow Day

I got the brown fleece at Fiber Frolic from Moon Crazy Fiber Arts
Loving summertime in the new studio. Listening to Adele while needle felting and painting with watercolors. My Shell Mandala painting is just about complete. This painting is the first of three paintings inspired by the color theory lessons I do with my 6th Graders.
Complementary color sets are: blue and orange, red and green, yellow and violet. I thought it would be fun to do a painting for each set of colors using natural subjects. For blue and orange I used mussel shells and little orange shells.

And the dog, this guy is our joy (look under the table). My days are scheduled around our walks in the woods along the Sheepscot River.
