...you make me so POPPY!

This time of year I can't help wandering around taking pictures of all the flowers. Ahh, the elixir of seeing flowers. These lovely poppies have reseeded themselves and come back for over 10 years. I love them for being so faithful. The seed pods become a lovely shape when they are dried.

Camping in New Hamphire

Former 'Old Man In The Mountain'
8 days of camping in New Hampshire. We started out up at the Connecticut Lakes just below the Canadian border. This offered very nice canoeing without bugs! We saw several herons and eagles while on the water. The dog mostly noticed the bubbles and swirls that canoe paddles make, and he sat fairly still in the middle of the canoe - good dog.
Mid week we headed south to the Kancamagus Trail. 'The Kanc'. This time we camped for 4 nights along the Swift River. I love to camp. With lots of family and many dogs we played  Rummikub, went swimming, panned for gold, and ate great food. Everything tastes so good while camping.

Back in the studio now and working on a Luna Moth painting. So many projects to juggle theses days!
